Cape

Help privacy-conscious visitors see what is different, why it is credible, what it costs and how hard it is to switch.

6 conversion leversA prioritized roadmap.

AT A GLANCE

I led user experience strategy, credibility research and expert review for a privacy-first mobile service, treating the site as a decision journey rather than a stack of sections.

The opportunity

Trust has to answer real questions.

Privacy-conscious visitors are often skeptical and technically literate. Broad security claims were not enough; the experience needed to explain the difference, the proof, the price and the effort involved in changing providers.

My role

Connect trust evidence with conversion behaviour.

I reviewed the public experience and dedicated credibility research to find where visitors had to work too hard to answer “Why Cape?” and “Why now?” The work covered positioning, usability, trust and conversion opportunities.

How we worked

Organize the decision, then reduce uncertainty.

The recommendations focused on six levers: differentiation, pricing, security benefits, credibility proof, onboarding and switching effort. I brought the privacy-first proposition higher, made price and trial terms easier to find, grouped proof where skepticism was likely, and surfaced the switching story earlier.

What changed

A prioritized trust and conversion roadmap.

The review showed how strong product attributes could be made easier to understand and evaluate. It translated the findings into specific messaging, hierarchy and onboarding opportunities for the product and marketing teams to test.

What this demonstrates

Credibility is part of the customer journey.

The case connects trust research, product differentiation, pricing clarity, proof and switching effort into one practical experience strategy.
